One of the key components of a major highway project north of Vernon, is now open to vehicles. Motorists can access the interchange to Larkin and Otter Lake Cross roads which is part of the 33 million dollar Highway 97A four- laning to Valley Auction. It means drivers no longer have to use a long detour route which was the case the last couple months. At this point, there's no official signs pointing out the interchange, just some temporary orange directional signs. The project is on target for completion by November.Construction started in the fall of 2008.
