Mayor and Council of the City of Penticton are pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Annette Antoniak as the new Chief Administrative Officer. Ms. Antoniak will replace Dennis Back who has been working in this capacity on a contract basis since mid 2009.

Ms. Antoniak brings with her a wealth of experience in leadership, organizational change and senior management experience. She has extensive experience working with all levels of government and the private sector. Ms. Antoniak is currently the Electoral Area D Economic Development Officer with the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen.

Previously, Ms Antoniak held the positions of President and CEO of the BC Olympic & Paralympic Games Secretariat, Deputy Minister of Intergovernmental Relations for the Province, and President and CEO of the Pacific National Exhibition. In each, she demonstrated a true vision and financial commitment to see each organization succeed.

Over 175 applications were received and reviewed for this position, and Ms. Antoniak demonstrated her abilities to lead the City into the future. We look forward to having Ms. Antoniak join the City effective September 20, 2010.
