A large outdoor grow op has been busted in the north Okanagan. On September 17, members of the North Okanagan RCMP seized a large outdoor marijuana growing operation near the 600 block of Irish Creek Road. RCMP spokesperson Gord Molendyk says that the op had the potential to put 50 pounds of marijuana onto the streets. “The operation that had 2,000 plants with complete irrigation system (drip line to every plant). It was located on Crown land, west of residences on Irish Creek Road,” says Molendyk. He says no persons have been arrested in connection to this grow but the investigation into who was responsible is continuing.
