Parks Function Can Work with Tweaking Betty Selin 10/14/2010 105.7 SUNFM
If it's not broken don't fix it. That may be the new attitude when it comes to splitting up responsibilities for parks, beaches and rec facilities. Vernon Mayor Wayne Lippert says Coldstream has taken a look at the potential liability of running Kal Beach and has decided it may be best to leave things alone. Lippert says there may need to be some sorting out of the basic issues that started it all in the first place., but Coldstream's Mayor sat in on Thursday's GVAC meeting to say they'd be okay with almost the status quo. Lippert says a meeting will be held with a look to perhaps "tweaking" the current agreement.

Jackasses.
So in the meantime, Parks has run off its staff. Oh well, no big thing.
Yeah.... Here we go with another "if it ain't broke" comment! Kind of like the decrepid two fire departments in one city that "ain't broke". Keep hiding under a rock to see if the answers are under there! and if your lucky or re-elected.... maybe the scarey issues will be gone! If they are still there, then just hide under that rock for three more years!!! seems to be working for them, not too well for the citizens though!!
