Lumby Police Take Drinking Driver's License, Vehicle - Say man blew `over 80' on roadside testing device

An Edgewood man caught drinking and driving last Saturday night has lost his license for 90 days and his vehicle for 30.  Lumby RCMP say the 56-year-old could have been charged with impaired driving after blowing a `fail' on the roadside testing device. Instead the officer slapped him with an `Immediate Roadside Prohibition’ option under those tough, new regulations. Police say the man will have to re-apply for his license and pay a minimum 450-dollars in fines.
