Andrew MacLeod December 20, 2010 Tyee:
A Liberal backbench MLA took $14,500 worth of trips to China and Korea, the NDP's environment critic travelled to Denmark on a union's tab and a Liberal MLA from the Peace River attended the Olympic gold medal women's hockey game courtesy of Encana Corporation.
The gifts are recorded in the annual public disclosure statements vetted by Conflict of Interest Commissioner Paul Fraser and released Dec. 17. The complete financial disclosure statements are available here. (Local MLA Eric Foster P.56-58)

Don Quixote Note:
Check out the "Olympic jacket, toque and shirt, valued at $375, received on May 12, 2010 and donated by John Furlong, VANOC. " Some members valued at $375 while other members valued at $500.
Must be different outfits(?) dependent on members clout (?) Bill Routley MLA ($375), John Les ($500), Eric Foster ($500) etc. Some prominent members including the Premier didn't even get one.
