Not only will your community have the exclusive bragging rights that come with being crowned Kraft Hockeyville 2011, the strongest hockey community is also awarded prizes to help them make their mark in Canada’s hockey history.
- $100,000 from Kraft Canada dedicated to upgrading your home arena endorsed through your winning Kraft Hockeyville bid.
- An NHL® pre-season hockey game hosted in your community arena.*
- A CBC Hockey Night in Canada broadcast from your community relating to the event.
If your community makes it to the Top 5 but doesn’t quite have what it takes this year to be Kraft Hockeyville do not fret. The top four remaining communities will still get some great prizes.
- $25,000 from Kraft Canada dedicated to upgrading your home arena endorsed through your Kraft Hockeyville bid.
- A CBC Hockey Night in Canada broadcast from your community.
Selection
The top ten (10) communities are chosen by an in-house panel, which makes their selections based on community spirit, originality and passion for hockey. The top five (5) communities are determined by your vote, Canada! Once the top five (5) are revealed, voters are re-invited to vote for the Grand Prize Community.
