The village of Lumby will need a new administrator in just over three weeks. Mayor Kevin Acton says Frank Kosa is moving home to Saskatchewan, to semi retire. "It broke our heart. Frank has an opportunity to semi retire in his hometown, and it came up very abruptly, and he had to make a tough decision on the spot sort of thing, but he did, and we're losing him." Kosa's been the village's top administrative person for 11 years. Acton says Kosa has been the sort who shows up at 7-30 in the morning and shovels the sidewalk before the rest arrive. The man is incredibly knowledgeable. He does an amazing job. He will be missed" Tuesday, January 18, 2011
