On Wednesday evening, at 7PM, the Concerned Citizens of Lumby & Area will hold a meeting to clarify the concerns associated with the proposed Lumby correctional facility. We have been doing extensive research on the environmental, social and economic impacts that large prisons have on small rural communities over the last few months. We hope Wednesday will provide us with an opportunity to inform all interested parties on the proposed Okanagan correctional facility.
