The Skyline Manor is coming down. The building on hospital hill went up in flames in February forcing 52 people to flee in the dark. The City of Vernon's chief building inspector Cornelius Martens says the owner was handed a demolition permit on Monday. An orange fence has been erected around the site and equipment has been moved in. The actual cause of the huge blaze was never determined because fire inspectors were unable to enter the unsafe structure. Calls to the owner have not been returned.

Strong smells were coming out of that building, dead pets, or fridges with rotten food?
