Duteau treatment plant hosts tours

Greater Vernon residents can see first hand what $29 million got them.  The North Okanagan Regional District will host an open house at the Duteau Creek water treatment plant Saturday. Tours will run every 20 minutes from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  “There will be educational information,” said Renee Clark, water quality manager.  “Due to safety issues children under 13 years of age will not be allowed to tour the plant.”  Wear closed-toed shoes and long pants (no high heels or loose clothing.
