Some of those `No' campaigners, opposed to a proposed provincial jail in the small community of Lumby, are vowing to protest at the BC Liberal convention in Penticton. According to spokesperson Huguette Allen, they will be on the street in front of Trade Centre on Friday evening. Allen says protestors want Premier Christy Clark and Solicitor General Shirley Bond to know that many people in Lumby and the surrounding area do not support a prison. There is no word on how many people will be picketing.
