No new City funding is required to support this request as 100% of the funding is being requested from existing reserves allocated for TDM projects.

Is it possible that 1000 cyclists use the purported cycle lanes in Vernon. If so then they are subsidized $120 each.
Perhaps it is time, like all other things in the City that a Bike licence fee be instituted to (18+ year olds) underwrite this out of control spending for very few benefits or special interests.
With the price of oil/gasoline getting increasingly expensive, I think readying streets for a bicycle revolution might just be a prudent thing to do.
"Prudent thing to do"-do you really think there will be a bike revolution? We will run out of water and money before we have to worry about bikes!
