The Vernon Vipers are off to a good start at the Royal Bank Cup. The two time defending champs beat the host Camrose Alberta Kodiaks 4-2 Saturday, getting the winning goal from Michael Zalewski 5 minutes into the third period. Darren Nowick with a goal and two assists, was Vernon's player of the game. It was the only game on the opening day. Camrose will play the Wellington Ontario Dukes in one of the two games Sunday. The Vipers next play Monday against the Portage Manitoba Terriers at 2:30 which we'll have on Kiss FMDON QUIXOTE VS. CITY HALL When an American gets mad, he says "where's my Gun". When a Canadian gets pissed off he says "Where is my pen, I'm going to send a letter to the EDITOR". When the EDITOR won't publish his letter he sets up his own BLOG page. When I received enough support to get a Council Seat the dogma of the establishment became : "Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in." (Only time will tell !)
