This cat like all cats is the house ruler who tolerates the Humans in her life as being required only to provide the necessities of life (food and water and a warm place to sleep 20 hours of the day).
The rest of the family (the dog seems ambivalent) misses the cat and since I just bought a large bag of Cat food I too will welcome her return to her spot as the titular head of the house.
