Just hours until the deadline to get those property taxes in. City Finance Manager Kevin Burtles (sic) says City Hall in Vernon is accepting cheques until midnight tonight. Burtles says there's been a steady stream of traffic at city hall all day. He says online payment options are also available but after midnight at 10% penalty will apply.
