Ex MP Stinson Recovering In Hospital Following Emergency Op - Stinson to miss Tory BBQ featuring BC leader John Cummins

Former Okanagan-Shuswap MP Darrel Stinson is recovering in Vernon General Hospital following an emergency operation earlier this week. Stinson underwent more than two hours of abdominal surgery on Monday. BC Conservative Party president Wayne McGrath says Stinson is said to have come through ``with flying colours.'' Although Stinson won't be present, a BBQ for the members of the BC Conservative riding associations in Vernon-Monashee and Shuswap, is being held at his home on Saturday. BC Conservative leader John Cummins is expected to attend.
