Individual weekly Prizes

You’re already a winner if you’re walking and being physically active every day. By sharing your experiences with others in your community and participating in our walking challenge, you can increase the fun and rewards. There are many chances for you and your community to win, so enter often.

Five $10,000 Cash Prizes

Five lucky communities will win $10,000 to put toward creating or improving a local hiking or walking trail. There are five population size categories, and the community in each size category with the most combined stories, maps, photos, and videos will win $10,000.

One $50,000 Cash Prize

From the five finalist communities, one lucky community will be selected by random draw to win an additional $50,000 to be put toward a local hiking or walking trail. That’s a total of $60,000 for one lucky BC community.
