$563 million taxpayer-funded renovation - Opening of 2 shelled in floors at VJH next ???

The 1983-opened stadium, which is undergoing a $563 million taxpayer-funded renovation, is scheduled to reopen Sept. 30 for a B.C. Lions game against the Edmonton Eskimos.

Perhaps BC place was 125% overcapacity and needed a $563M renovation or the BC Lions would have to play football in the hallways

..whoops that's our local hospital which only needs another $20M to finish two floors

I guess football is more important than health care for the elderly in the N Okanagan
