NORD Seeks Criminal Lawyer Over Antwerp Charges - District of Coldstream also seeking legal advice


The North Okanagan Regional District is in the process of hiring a criminal lawyer, according to administrator Trafford Hall. This follow charges being sworn against NORD in connection with the Antwerp Springs water contamination of January, 2010. Hall admits the charges are a blow and could could prove costly. Also charged are the District of Coldstream, Pan-O-Ramic Farms Limited and owner Earnest Rodney Palfrey. All four are expected to make a first appearance in court in October. Coldstream's administrator says the municipality is also seeking legal advice.
