CORPORATE OFFICER / HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
Reporting to the Administrator, the Corporate Officer / Human Resources Manager is responsible for the statutory duties identified in Section 198 of the Local Government Act (Corporate Administration); managing the Regional District’s human resources / labour relations functions; overseeing Freedom of Information requests, records management, bylaws, agreements and other legal documents; performing the duties of Chief Election Officer for local government voting opportunities; and providing advice on matters requiring interpretation of the Local Government Act, Community Charter and other relevant legislation. This position offers an annual salary range of $90,672 to $100,217, as well as an extensive benefits package and compressed work schedule.
