A fixture in Vernon's Polson Park is on the mend after being injuredovernight Sunday Duchess the swan has been in the park for almost 25 years.
When she was found Monday with damage to a wing, possibly from an attack or a run in with a vehicle, the call went out for Ron Gibson. He's a city employee Duchess bonded with after loosing her mate 15 years ago.
