Glen Taylor is thenew manager of the Historic O'Keefe Ranch. Taylor has operated his printing business in Coldstream for thirty two years, and was a councillor on Coldstream Council. He has also been active with the Vernon Golf Club, a director of the
BC Association of Festivals and Events, and is a past chairman of the
Vernon Winter Carnival Society. "We are pleased to attract someone with Glen's skills," said Larry
Bell, President of O'Keefe Ranch. "We had fifty applications and we
interviewed a number of very talented people." "I look forward to my new career at O'Keefe" said Taylor. "We can
all take pride in our heritage. In 1875, cattle from O'Keefe Ranch were
driven to soon-to-be Fort Calgary to start their beef industry." Taylor will assume his duties March 12. He takes over for Catherine Lord who stepped down as manager last November after winning a seat on Vernon council.
