Eric Foster will hold a press conference on the seventh floor of Vernon
Jubilee Hospital Friday at 10:30 a.m.A Ministry of Health statement says they "will announce plans to add capacity at VJH's Polson tower."Community leaders, residents, Foster and health care
workers have been lobbying the provincial government for years to
complete two shelled-in floors in the tower as a way of increasing
capacity and easing overcrowding. It's not known if de Jong will announce funding for both floors or just one floor.Watch vernonmorningstar.com for more details after Friday's announcement.
