DON QUIXOTE VS. CITY HALL When an American gets mad, he says "where's my Gun". When a Canadian gets pissed off he says "Where is my pen, I'm going to send a letter to the EDITOR". When the EDITOR won't publish his letter he sets up his own BLOG page. When I received enough support to get a Council Seat the dogma of the establishment became : "Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in." (Only time will tell !)

NOCLS Golf Classic raises a whopping $102,350
A local charity has reached a new high. The North Okanagan Community Life Society's Golf Classic raised $102,350 Friday, shattering last year's record of $87,000. "We are beyond thrilled," said Garry Molitwenik, executive director of NOCLS, which provides services to developmentally disabled adults. "The generosity and support of the community is amazing." The 21st annual event at the Vernon Golf and Country Club was a sell out with 144 golfers participating. It also included silent auction and live auctions and a celebrity caddy auction. Among those who volunteered their time as caddies were NDP leader Adrian Dix, MLA Eric Foster, Mayor Rob Sawatzky and the Morning Star's Lisa Starke and Lynnaya Frasch.
