A motorcyclist is dead after being run over just north of Vernon last evening. Police say the 33 year old from Clandonald, Alberta was accelerating hard from Stickle Road onto highway 97 when he fell off his Harley and was run over by a pickup towing an RV. Police say alcohol doesn't apear a factor. The man and a friend were returning to their Sturgis North campsite at the time.
