DON QUIXOTE VS. CITY HALL When an American gets mad, he says "where's my Gun". When a Canadian gets pissed off he says "Where is my pen, I'm going to send a letter to the EDITOR". When the EDITOR won't publish his letter he sets up his own BLOG page. When I received enough support to get a Council Seat the dogma of the establishment became : "Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in." (Only time will tell !)

No Demolition For City Site
Written by Peter McIntyre 107.5 KISSFM Monday, 10 September 2012 20:03
The wrecking ball won't be showing up at a city owned site in the downtown anytime soon. Council will try to lease the former Flower Shop on 31st Avenue by Cenotaph Park if the Vernon Public Art Gallery isn't successful in locating its new facility there. Council will look at demolishing the building, and putting in parking, if it can't be leased by 2014. The Downtown Vernon Association wanted council to tear down the structure as soon as possible to create much needed temporary parking.
