DON QUIXOTE VS. CITY HALL When an American gets mad, he says "where's my Gun". When a Canadian gets pissed off he says "Where is my pen, I'm going to send a letter to the EDITOR". When the EDITOR won't publish his letter he sets up his own BLOG page. When I received enough support to get a Council Seat the dogma of the establishment became : "Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in." (Only time will tell !)

Anti-Idle Bylaw On Hold
Written by Peter McIntyre 107.5 KISSFM Tuesday, 26 March 2013 06:01
Vernon's anti idling bylaw has been put on hold, for six months. Final approval of the bylaw was deferred to allow the city to run an education campaign to inform residents about the program. Councillor Bob Spiers feels the law could be a nitemare to enforce, and he doesn't think it should apply to vehicles idling on private property. "But it seemed to be the feeling of the group that the objective could be achieved by an educational and informational campaign." Once the bylaw is adopted, drivers could be fined $250 dollars or more, if they let their cars idle for longer than five minutes.
