More Parking Fee Hikes

It won't be an April Fool's joke--come Monday, April 1st, public parking fees are rising at Kelowna's airport. As expected, city council has approved a new fee schedule, which sees the short-term parking at YLW rise by 2-dollars, to a maximum 17-dollars a day. In the longterm lot, one-week parking rates also go up 2-dollars, to 52 dollars a week, maximum. Airport officials say their surveys show Kelowna's parking fees are still in the low range, for similar sized airports like those in Victoria, Prince George, Regina and Saskatoon.
