Police have released more information about Sunday's deadly crash south of Vernon. Investigators say a northbound Chevrolet pickup truck crossed the centre line and collided with a south bound Volvo station wagon. A 19 year old male passenger in the truck from Armstrong died at the scene, as did the 70 year old Salmon Arm man driving the Volvo. The Volvo driver's 66 year old wife was seriously injured and is in Kelowna hospital in critical condition. The 21 year old driver of the truck from Spallumcheen is also being treated in Kelowna hospital. Names are being withheld as officers contact family members. Police continue to investigate the cause, but at this point, there is no indication that alcohol was a factor. The investigating officers are again asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash and have not spoken to the police to contact them at 250 545 7171.
DON QUIXOTE VS. CITY HALL When an American gets mad, he says "where's my Gun". When a Canadian gets pissed off he says "Where is my pen, I'm going to send a letter to the EDITOR". When the EDITOR won't publish his letter he sets up his own BLOG page. When I received enough support to get a Council Seat the dogma of the establishment became : "Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in." (Only time will tell !)
