Overlapping Debates at Adults vs. Kids Shows !!

The Greater Vernon Performing Arts Centre will host the Vernon Monashee candidates April 29th, moderated by Kiss FM News Director Pete McIntyre. Monday at the Performing Arts Centre at 7 p.m.

  • 'A live Fighting (for his pension) Foster is better than a T.V. Clark clarifying Campbell (Gorden) '
  • Ogling Olsen at an open local Forum better than Dialing up Dix for Dollars on the Boob Tube.'
  • 'Watching Anderson Angle for votes is your first choice; enjoy a Cognac with Cummings on the tape delay.'
  • 'A Mature Macho Macintyre out-moderates a sublime but Jolly Jennifer Burke.'

VANCOUVER, April 11, 2013 /CNW/ - The British Columbia Broadcast Consortium is pleased to announce that the only all-party TV debate will air widely on TV, radio and digital platforms on April 29, 2013 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. The ninety minute televised debate will feature four party leaders: BC Liberal Premier Christy Clark, BC NDP Leader Adrian Dix, BC Conservative Leader John Cummins and BC Green Party Leader Jane Sterk. Veteran BC broadcaster Jennifer (Mather) Burke will moderate the debate.  The format of the event will contain plenty of opportunity for pointed questions inspired by voter concerns and head to head debate between individual party leaders. Debate 2013 will dominate BC airwaves the evening of April 29th - two weeks before the crucial May 14th provincial vote. The broadcast will air simultaneously on every major BC television and radio news platform. Partners to the Debate 2013 are CBC TV and Radio, CTV British Columbia, Global BC, City, OMNI BC, News1130 Radio and CKNW Radio.  Moderator Jennifer Burke will be available upon request the morning of April 29th for interviews regarding the debate.  You can follow leaders' debate news on Twitter at #bcdebate2013.
