DON QUIXOTE VS. CITY HALL When an American gets mad, he says "where's my Gun". When a Canadian gets pissed off he says "Where is my pen, I'm going to send a letter to the EDITOR". When the EDITOR won't publish his letter he sets up his own BLOG page. When I received enough support to get a Council Seat the dogma of the establishment became : "Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in." (Only time will tell !)

Voting Day For Okanagan Indian Band

Four candidates are running for chief of the Okanagan Indian Band, which will be decided today. The list includes Byron Louis who has headed the 1,400 member band since 2011. Former chiefs Dan Wilson and Fabian Alexis are also on the ballot, along with Bernadine Marchand. 25 candidates are running for the 10 council positions. The winners will serve two year terms. The polls at the Head of the Lake Hall are open from 9 am to 8pm. Click HERE to get more information on the election.
