The Cineplex theatres in Vernon's Polson Mall are dark and will remain that way until apparent structural issues are addressed . Staff had spotted some fallen bricks inside yesterday morning, but it wasn't until the busy evening shows were under way that a structural engineer was able to take a look. He then ordered the building cleared shortly before 6:30. There's no word on how long any repairs may take.

The Galaxy Cinemas, Cineplex theatres in Vernon's Polson Mall are
dark and will remain that way until tonight with structural issues
being addressed. Staff had spotted some fallen bricks inside Tuesday morning, but it
wasn't until the busy evening shows were under way that a structural
engineer was able to take a look. He then ordered the building cleared shortly before 6:30. Management says a temporary support beam's being installed now and they will reopen tonight.
Further permanent repairs will take a couple days more.
