The Downtown Vernon Association has cancelled today's Civic Sounds concert. The decision was made because of the steady rain falling in the region. "We'll hope for better weather next week," said Hailey Rilkoff, DVA events and marketing co-ordinator. The free concerts are held Thursdays during the summer in front of the Greater Vernon Museum.
