Race Track Future Open For Talks

The fate of Kin Race Track is being offered to the public for input. This Saturday there will be an info session at the Elks Hall on 30th Street in Vernon, hosted by the Okanagan Equestrian Society. The focus will be on the historic grandstands, destroyed in an arson attack this summer. Options will be put forward by the society and suggestions from the public are welcomed as well. As yet no decision has been made. While the facility was insured, the money goes to the city but no formal talks have been held as yet. Doors will open at one Saturday.
