The new sports facility by Okanagan College is starting to look like it. Area B director Bob Fleming says the running track pavement underlay is now in. He says "There is then a wait period, for the pavement, before the synthetic track surface can be applied, it's a little bit weather dependant, so the synthetic track surface would be going on just ahead of the end of the month." Fleming says they'll be calling tenders on the building towards the same time after some delays owing to design changes. At this point he says they're on or slightly below budget on the 7.5 million dollar project. One help has been a provincial grant for disabled access, about 50 thousand dollars.
