Greater Vernon's new sports facility is having more construction with the start of it's building. Area B director Bob Fleming says tenders were over budget meaning some "adjustments" but the contract was let. "Most of the other things are winding up, I think the substantial completion for the rest of the work was supposed to be November 25th, there's some landscaping elements that are outstanding." he says. That'll have to wait for spring. Fleming says it looks like they'll be on budget with some savings coming in other areas. The official opening for the 7.5 million dollar facility is projected for early to mid June.
