Hazmat Route Update.

Proposed Transport of Dangerous Goods Routes Bylaw P.57
The work identified in Council's Strategic Plan 2015 — 2018 to "Update Master Transportation Plan including a review of truck and hazardous materials routes" has been completed,  recommending a bylaw that would prevent the use of 27th Street between Highways 97 and 6. The work to draft a Transport of Dangerous Goods Routes Bylaw, undertake trucking
industry consultation and ultimately the submission of the draft bylaw for MoTI review and approval has not yet commenced. Due to the current work volume already committed to, the Transportation Department will not be able to start this work until late 2018.
