BOIL WATER NOTICE LIFTED

Greater Vernon Services, in conjunction with the Interior Health Authority, is LIFTING the 24-hour precautionary boil water notice for users on the Kalamalka Lake-West Kal Road Intake (City of Vernon Customers). The Boil Water Notice was issued at 4:00 pm July 11, 2006 following an introduction of turbid (cloudy) water into the distribution system. Operations staff were able to isolate and flush the affected part of the water system. Treatment did not cease at any point throughout the event and bacterial tests are clear.
