He wanted to get to the Okanagan. RCMP in Vernon are on the lookout for a man who hi-jacked an airport shuttle bus at gunpoint in Richmond Saturday and demanded he be taken to Vernon. The man and the shuttle driver were alone in the vehicle at the time. Police were unaware of the hi-jacking until the driver was released upon arrival in Vernon. The driver then contacted RCMP. The suspect is described as a male in his 40's, wearing a blue long sleeved shirt, black cowboy boots, white baseball cap and glasses. The man is potentially armed and dangerous. If you have any information, you're asked to contact Vernon or Richmond RCMP.
