Affordable Housing Survey (KELOWNA)

The City of Kelowna is undertaking an on-line survey to identify the number of Kelowna residents who are having difficulty finding suitable affordable or special needs housing. The 13-question survey will be available from Tuesday July 18th through to Monday August 14th on www.castanet.net. Public computer terminals with internet access are available at:
The Parkinson Recreation Centre, 1800 Parkinson Way
Okanagan Regional Library branches-Downtown, 1380 Ellis Street -Mission, #5 - 3818 Gordon Drive (Capital News Centre) -Rutland, #32 - 301 Highway 33 West In addition, special arrangements have been made for public internet access at the following locations:
City Hall, Third Floor, 1435 Water Street
Kelowna Food Bank, 1265 Ellis Street
Kelowna Drop In Centre, 467 Leon Avenue
Survey findings will be published in late August, followed by a workshop in September and public Open Houses. A final report will be presented to City Council by the end of November. The survey is an initiative of the Affordable and Special Needs Housing Task Force which was formed to advise Council on the best means to address the supply of affordable and special needs housing in the city.
