DCT Chambers finalizes deal to buy Glen Transport 08/14/2006
SKOOKUMCHUCK, B.C. -- Months after the death of its owner Don Glen, family fleet Glen Transport of Skookumchuck, B.C. is officially part of DCT Chambers Trucking. Vernon B.C.-based DCT Chambers Trucking recently finalized the deal to acquire all the assets of Glen Transport, a wood-based residuals hauler serving B.C., Alberta, Washington, Idaho, and Montana. DCT plans to continue to operate Glen as a separate division. With the acquisition of Glen Transport, DCT now operates 300 trucks and employs over 550 people.
