Former Vernon city councillor Derek Hall is the latest high profile person to join the Society For Future Governance of the North Okanagan. Hall has been recruited as a membership liaison and will be responsible for membership sales, community contacts and marketing the society.Society member Jack Borden doesn't give any actual numbers but says membership sales are proceeding on schedule and they expect to complete the campaign next month.The group has set a goal of selling one thousand memberships at one hundred dollars apiece.The money will be used to hire a consultant to conduct a study on the way the North Okanagan is governed.
