Another robbery at a bank in Vernon -- this time the Royal Bank in Polson Place Mall. RCMP say a man entered the bank shortly before 4pm on Wednesday, waited in line, then approached a teller and made verbal threats. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police arrived a short time later, but found no trace of the man. The suspect is described as white, 35 to 40 years of age, 5'6", 145 pounds with a slight build, bad teeth and complexion. He was wearing a light colored baseball cap and a forest green zip up jacket. Witnesses say the man appeared to be a street person.
