The Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre finally has a new 
operating agreement. The talks on a new deal had been going on for more than two years. Executive Director Michael Cade says the new agreement provides them with a larger subsidy, andruns to end of 2009. He tells Kiss fm,'Basically the big thing it gives us is stability. Knowing on a long term basis what thefunding will be so we can make sure that the programs that are in place for the community are viable.' Meantime, the GVSC has also approved ten thousand dollars to produce a presentation package totry and sell the naming rights of the Performing Arts Centre.
