NORD Salaries ReleasedNorth Okanagan taxpayers contributed 4.5 million dollars to pay for NORD staff last year.In its annual financial information, NORD lists 4.2 million dollars in salaries, and another 200thousand in expenses.The highest staff compensation went to Barry Gagnon.The former Chief Administrative Officer received 164-thousand dollars last year.BX Silver Star director Stan Field received just over 33-thousand dollars in 2006.Most of that was due to Field serving as NORD's chairman, as well as on GVSC and other committees.The next highest amount was paid to rural Lumby director Rick Fairbairn who received 23-thousanddollars compensation.
