A man who was caught in two RCMP undercover operations dealing with drug trafficking in Vernon had had his day in court. Warren Ross Hudema, 39, was sentenced to two years in jail. Hudema was caught selling drugs to the undercover officers in May of 2006 and again in February, 2007. He was given two year sentences on both charges to be served concurrently. Vernon RCMP say they are hopeful that sentences like this one will send a message to the individuals to want to deal drugs in Vernon and hope this will have an effect to slow it down, as they take steps to deal with these issues within the City.
