Some of the Highlights:
  • The majority of respondents(58%) would like City Council to maintain levels of service and taxes.
  • Overall, 33% of respondents were very satisfied(4/5or5/5) with the City's Roadways and Transportation services. Citizens were least satisfied with ease of bicycle travel(17%) and road surface condition (16%).
  • Overall, 68% of respondents were very satisfied with the City's parks, leisure and cultural services. Quality of theatre received the highest top 2-box percentage at 90%. This was followed by quality of the cemetery(75%) and availability of cultural activities(74%).
  • Overall, 5I% of respondents were very satisfied with the City's Protective services.The Fire department had the highest satisfaction rating at 81%. This was followed by 91/service(75%).RCMP services and Community policing stations also received high ratings with 58%and 55% satisfied.
  • Twenty-seven percent rated their satisfaction with Overall Community Development as a 4 or5 out of five. Heritage building received preservation the top score at 49% very satisfied. Only 20% were very satisfied with planning and development.
  • Forty-six percent of respondents were very satisfied with City's Overall Environmental Services.Garbage collection and curbside recycling were both programs rated strongly at 86% satisfaction.
  • The majority of respondents (58%) would like City Council to maintain current levels of service and taxes.
