It was revealed that the audited Financial Statements for 2006 will be produced at the Audit Committee meeting following the Finance Committee meeting at 1 PM Aug 16. The separate Airport statements also will be available ?Hopefully we will see the $1,550,000 surplus broken down by its sources and where it presently sits. A review of reserves will be essential if Council insists on raiding them to make the Civic Complex a reality.

I had a beer bet with a local media rep. that financial statements would be made available before Sept. Same guy who bet on the counter petition falling short of the 2777 names required. (I would name him but I don't want anybody to move in on my Pigeon.)
