Alternative Approval Process Result - The Regional Board has received the result of the recent Alternative Approval Process for a proposed bylaw to fund the operation and maintenance of the Killiney Beach Recreation Building. A total of 363 electors returned response forms, which is greater than the minimum ten per cent of signatures required and prevents the Board from proceeding with the bylaw without first holding a referendum to seek elector approval. Regional District staff will review the options with the Electoral Area Director.
